For those continuing, we’ll journey south to the beautiful coastal town of Sorrento, stopping along the way to visit the historic Abbey of Monte Cassino. This remarkable site, founded by St. Benedict, is a cornerstone of Western monasticism and a symbol of resilience. Monte Cassino also played a pivotal role during World War II as the site of a fierce battle, where its destruction and eventual reconstruction became a powerful testament to the endurance of faith and culture. Upon arrival in Sorrento, we’ll enjoy a brief introductory walking tour to help you get acquainted with the charming town. The remainder of the evening is yours to explore and savor Sorrento’s many amazing dining options. (B, ID)

Extension Day 2 ✠Saturday – July 26, 2025
This is your day to choose your own adventure! Enjoy the scenic beauty of Sorrento today! Today is yours to explore the town’s cobblestone streets, shop, or simply relax by the pool of your resort hotel or the sea.

The evening promises to be a highlight as we attend the Sunday Vigil Mass for the Feast of St. Anne, or "Santa Anna." An exquisite dinner with breathtaking seaside views awaits as the sun sets over the horizon. Later, you can catch a glimpse of the spectacular procession in honor of St. Anne through the charming streets, followed by fireworks that light up the bay, creating a magical atmosphere. This unforgettable celebration is a true reflection of Sorrento’s rich traditions and vibrant community spirit. (B, D).
Extension Day 3 ✠Sunday – July 27, 2025
Option 1: Join an optional private boat tour along the Amalfi Coast and explore the stunning towns nestled along the coastline.
Option 2: Spend the day at leisure in Sorrento, relaxing at the beach, shopping, or taking in the sights.

Rise and shine! This morning, we’ll transfer to Naples International Airport for our flights home.
